Founded in Lithuania in 2008, Vinted now operates in 16 markets across Europe and North America, catering to a fast-growing community of more than 65 million members that support Vinted’s mission to make second-hand first choice. The company also recently launched Vinted Go, a dedicated shipping business which aims to create a better shipping experience for Vinted and other businesses.

Wallapop is the leading platform for conscious and humane consumption. Founded in Barcelona in 2013 and present in Spain, Italy and Portugal, Wallapop aims to create a unique inventory ecosystem of reused products that facilitates a more humane and sustainable consumption model. The platform connects the 15 million users who visit it every month, who collectively create more than 100 million listings annually. On Wallapop it is possible to buy and sell products from all categories of consumer goods easily, quickly and securely, and it is also a reference in categories such as Motors, where it is the leader among private sellers in Spain.
How to become a member?
The CME Coalition is increasing the classifieds marketplaces visibility vis-à-vis EU policymakers and is strengthening the sector’s influence over relevant legislation at the EU level. The group is open to new members to be able to shape the EU debate even more successfully. The benefits we offer members include:
— Information and intelligence on the key dossiers impacting the classifieds sector;
— Advocacy activities;
— Profile raising and corporate branding.
The Coalition is a member-driven informal group (i.e. not an official institutionalised Trade Association) and is supported by an outside partner that runs its Secretariat.
